I’m very excited about the lineup of outstanding speakers/presenters for the 2019 conference! Here’s a glimpse of who they are:
David Murrow is director of Church for Men, an organization dedicated to restoring a healthy, life-giving masculine spirit in Christian congregations. He is the author of Why Men Hate Going to Church, an inspirational bestseller with more than 150,000 copies in print in more than a dozen languages. The book has been reviewed in newspapers such as the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, New York Times and many others.
Dave has spoken about the gender gap on the NBC Nightly News, Fox News Channel and PBS. He’s a frequent guest on Christian TV and radio programs such as Family Life Today, Dr. Dobson’s Family Talk and dozens of local broadcasts. He’s a contributor to several Christian magazines, including Christianity Today, Leadership Journal, Outreach and many others.
A sought-after speaker, Murrow has delivered keynote addresses for the National Coalition of Men’s Ministries, Presbyterian Men, and Lutheran Men in Mission to name a few. He has trained church leaders for Promise Keepers, and has spoken at men’s events around the world.
Murrow spent thirty years honing his skills as a communicator, producing and writing award-winning television documentaries, commercials and specials. He has contributed material to Discovery Channel, NBC, ABC, CBS, Food Network, Travel Channel, Dr. Phil, The Miss America Pageant and many others. He is the former Director of Communications for the Alaska Governor’s Office, where he served under Sarah Palin.
Murrow has a degree in Anthropology from Baylor University. He’s a layman who’s served as an elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA). He’s married with three children and lives in Chugiak, Alaska.
Brandilyn Collins is an award-winning and best-selling novelist of over 30 books. She is known for her trademark Seatbelt Suspense®–fast-paced, character-driven, with myriad twists and an interwoven thread of faith. She is also recognized for her unique book on how to write fiction—Getting Into Character: Seven Secrets a Novelist Can Learn From Actors. Brandilyn is a popular teacher of fiction and keynote speaker at writers conferences across the country.
Jan Cline is the published author of several works of non-fiction and fiction. She is a speaker and presents at conferences and groups in the area. Her first novel was released in 2016, and she is currently working on another historical fiction book.
Ray Edwards is a Communications Strategist, Copywriter, Author, Speaker, and host of one the top iTunes Business Podcasts. He has worked with Fortune 500 companies, and with some of the most powerful voices in leadership and business. His clients include: New York Times best-selling authors Michael Hyatt (author of Platform and co-author of Living Forward), Tony Robbins (author of Unleash the Giant Within and Money: Master the Game), Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen (co-authors of Chicken Soup for the Soul), Jeff Walker (author of Launch), and many more. Ray’s copy and marketing expertise has helped sell an estimated $200 Million or more in products and services. Ray is the founder of Ray Edwards International, Incorporated, which offers:

Dave is a graduate of the US Navy Academy and is a retired naval officer. After over forty years of avid reading, in 2013 Dave took the plunge. He published his first short story in September 2013, The USS Lexington and HMS Edward.
Since then, he continues to write almost every day and has released three, full-length, historical fiction novels that focus on the American Revolutionary Navy. While Dave has a “day job” to pay the bills, he has discovered that researching and writing stories is great fun.
Now Dave is writing a new genre: End of the World / Political Thriller. His first two books in this genre include: No One Left Behind and Suffer the Little Children.
Josh Johnson’s two decades in journalism include stints as a reporter, copy editor, opinion page editor and owner and publisher of community newspapers in Liberty Lake and Spokane Valley. He is currently Chief Storyteller at his company, Peridot Publishing, where he tackles freelance publishing and writing projects when he isn’t publishing a pair of annual community yearbooks.
Josh is a former board member of the Washington Newspaper Publishers Association and secretary of the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife, Kim, live in Liberty Lake with their two daughters and a scrappy Yorkshire Terrier named Fifa.
Kurt W. Bubna has been in pastoral ministry since 1976 and now serves as the founding and senior pastor of Eastpoint Church in Spokane Valley, Washington. Bubna published his first book, Epic Grace ~ Chronicles of a Recovering Idiot, with Tyndale in 2013. He is an author of five other books, an active blogger, a frequent international conference speaker, and a regular radio personality. He and his wife, Laura, have been married for over forty-two years and have four grown children and nine grandchildren.
Rob is a prolific writer having written nearly 30 books and hundreds of published articles on a wide variety of topics. He also serves as a ghostwriter, editor and writing coach for numerous other authors helping them get their books published. Some of Rob’s non-fiction books include: The Summit Leadership Series for Men on spiritual disciplines; Comrades in Arms; Enthralled with God; 13 Jars; Rogue Saints; 28:19–The Skills for Disciple-Making; and Becoming Tarzan.
